How Konig handles information across our customer, vendor, and rider apps and website.

Last updated: 8 September 2026

MOJEC International Limited owns and operates Konig, including its customer, vendor, and rider apps and services. For support and privacy enquiries, contact Konig support.

Konig connects customers, food vendors, and delivery riders. This policy describes the information used to provide that service. For privacy questions or requests, use our support page.

Information we collect

  • Accounts: email address, name, password hash, verification and account status, and sign-in/session information.
  • Customer activity: phone number, saved addresses and coordinates, cart and wishlist items, orders, delivery instructions, reviews, cancellations, disputes, and support messages.
  • Vendor and rider profiles: business or vehicle details, contact details, pickup or home addresses, and identity, business, vehicle, or bank verification documents that you submit.
  • Payments: transaction references, amounts, payment and refund status, payouts, and limited card details. If you choose to save a card, Konig stores an encrypted reusable payment authorization. Card entry is handled by Paystack; Konig does not store your full card number or card security code.
  • Location: customer/vendor location when you use location features, and rider location for availability, pickup, delivery, and tracking. With permission, Konig Rider can collect location in the background while you are online or handling a delivery, including when the app is not visible.
  • Service and device information: notification registration tokens, notification permissions, app/platform details, delivery status, network addresses, and service/security logs.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and protect accounts, show available products, fulfil and track orders, process payments and payouts, verify vendors and riders, send service notifications, handle support and disputes, and prevent abuse or fraud.

When information is shared

Order and contact information is shared with the vendors, riders, and authorised Konig staff who need it to fulfil or support your order. Delivery tracking may be visible to the customer associated with that delivery.

Service providers process information needed for their services, including Paystack for payments, Google Places/geocoding for address features where enabled; Geoapify for Rider street maps and road routing, which receives coordinates needed to display maps and calculate routes; Firebase Cloud Messaging and platform notification services for push delivery; Render for the API, database, and queue; Cloudinary for uploaded images and verification documents; Brevo for service emails; and Vercel for this website. These providers may process data outside your country. We may also disclose information when required by law or to investigate fraud and protect users.

Your choices

You can edit profile details and saved addresses, remove saved payment methods, and manage location and notification permissions in your device settings. Denying a permission can limit the feature that needs it. Riders can go offline to stop availability tracking; an active delivery may still need location to complete its disclosed workflow.

You can ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information through support.

Account deletion and retention

Konig support aims to complete verified account-deletion requests within about one week. If an outstanding order, delivery, payment, dispute, or required retention prevents completion within that time, we will explain the reason and expected next steps through your registered contact details.

Use Profile → Delete account in any Konig app, or request deletion on this website without reinstalling an app. We verify that the request belongs to you before removing data.

After outstanding orders, refunds, disputes, deliveries, and payouts are resolved, deletion removes or anonymises your login identity, profile/contact details, addresses and stored coordinates, saved payment credentials, cart/wishlist, notification tokens and messages, and verification documents. The deleted account can no longer sign in.

Limited order, payment, payout, and deletion records may be retained where needed for accounting, legal obligations, security, or fraud prevention. Records retained after account deletion have unnecessary contact, location, and free-text details removed. Support will explain any applicable retention reason and period when handling your request. Provider and support records are reviewed as part of completion. Backups are handled under the retention schedule for the deployed service and are not used to restore deleted accounts to active use.

Protection and updates

Production app connections use HTTPS. Access to personal information and verification documents is restricted, and reusable payment authorizations are encrypted. No service can guarantee absolute security. We update this page when our data practices change and show the revision date above.
